You are doing the absolutely right thing. I referenced you in my "State of the Climate" report;

Living in Bomb Time - 16. It starts:

So, I wrote my first climate piece here on Medium almost 2 years ago, "It's Raining in Antarctica and the Arctic is on Fire". I wrote it in response to a piece by Shaunta Grimes about how she and her family moved from Las Vegas to Pennsylvania because of her concern about the effects of Climate Change on the world (Deep Adaptation: Is It The End of The World as We Know It?).

I thought her actions were intelligent, farsighted, and brave. It's not easy to pack up and move to a new place because you foresee disaster unfolding in the place you live. It requires a clear eyed acceptance of reality that most people just don't have.

Your instincts were good then and they are good now. We are about to have a "Climate Crisis" and Dust Bowl 2.0.

There are a lot of parts to the puzzle (see Living in Bomb Time 20 for the full analysis) but here's the bottom line:

It's going to start warming up in 12-18 months. Then it's going to get hotter than it's ever been in your life. Then agricultural production is going to crater on a global level. Then hundreds of millions of people are going to starve. And that condition will persist for 3 to 5 years.

You don't have to agree with me but I think Putin does. As Shaunta points out "Russia and Ukraine combined account for 1/4 of the global wheat supply". What's happening in Ukraine is about food. It's a signal that things are about to get much, much worse.

On Politics, War by Other Means - 03 : In Ukraine we are seeing the first war of the "Climate Crisis"

This year is your very last chance to get ahead of it. In addition to food consider electronics. 80% of the world supply of neon comes from Ukraine. Neon is used to make computer chips. That shortage is about to get worse.
