There's going to be famine in the Middle East this Fall. Next Spring, DustBowl 2.0 will start gripping the Plains. In 18 months everyone will see what we are seeing now.

That's when the shit hits the fan. Because that's when everyone will understand that there is another 3-4 years of intense warming that's going to happen.

That agricultural outputs globally won't "bounce back" in 24'. That they will probably shrink even more as the heat intensifies.

That's when everyone will understand viscerally that a billion people are going to starve to death between 23 and 27. That's when things will unhinged and we find out if global civilization can stand up to that shock.
