You are wrong. This is part of the "Cold Civil War" we are having. It was a big ask after Jan 6th to kick Trump off of Twitter and Facebook. Part of why he was allowed to slink away was that it was intended as "exile".

Elon has declared himself "Pro-Trumpublican". He is taking a side because he thinks that in a Fascist "New America" he will be the "smartest guy in the room" and able to get anything he wants.
