You are being incredibly smart. And you are right, when the "Great Climate Awakening" happens it's going to shake up everything. Trillions in value will be lost as a lot of property becomes futureless.

Millions are going to be stuck in houses they cannot afford to leave but cannot insure. They will be the ones refusing to leave their homes as the fires sweep over them. Or the ones ignoring flood warnings, hoping it will be OK.

They will be the ones hoping they die before disaster takes them.
