What, you prefer the Protestant idea of the "Elect" or "Saved"? That G-d decides at birth those chosen for salvation and it's all preordained.

You know how you can ALWAYS tell who the Elect are?

They are always the rich. It's obvious they have G-d's blessing and favor. Otherwise they wouldn't be rich.
