Well, then you get into the debate of what kind of culture we should strive for. My classic example is the Australian Indigenous population.

They colonized Australia about 60Kya and their culture has persisted almost unchanged since then. Cultural Stagnation or brilliant harmony with their environment?

Is that the way you would want to live?

Is that the way you would want your grandchildren to live?

Those are tough questions.
