Well Michael, as a Jew, I think I have been clear on my poorly informed position re: Israel.

I regard it as a "Western Artifact" plopped down into a "Muslim Geography". Basically no different than the "Crusader Kingdoms" of the Middle Ages.

Like those Kingdoms, it is dependent on Western aid for its continued existence. Once the West loses interest, it will get snuffed out.

As a Jew, I'm OK with that. My faith isn't based on a "geographic location" or place. G-d (if it exists) is everywhere so I don't need a Third F'ing Temple to be rebuilt.

Get a clue, people. The first two were destroyed. This whole 19th Century Zionist, "The Jews need a homeland" idea was a mistake.

It has made us into monsters.

Sadly, almost ALL my co-religionists disagree with me and call me "self hating". Which is strange, because I like myself.

Plus, I NEVER have to find ways to justify killing innocent people in the name of G-d. So, I am in a good place vis-a-vis G-d.

Which is more than I can say for Israel.

My entire life can be described in one sentence: Things didn’t go as planned, and I’m OK with that.
