We are on the brink of Collapse now. The situation is desperate.

At this point I think they are becoming afraid of what the reaction is going to be like. When everyone finally internalizes what the nebulous phrase "Climate Change" really means to their life.

When everyone realizes that the current Elites have driven us off a cliff.

In many of the Classic Maya sites there are often hastily erected walls. Not around the city. Around the Elite residences.

In several sites they have found unburied dead, burning, and broken weapons. In these Elite areas.

This all happened when the Climate changed around 900AD and a 100 years cycle of droughts started.

When their Elites failed them. When they could not "bring the rains" as they had claimed. The people turned on them and massacred them.

I think our current Elites are becoming very afraid.
