This is a very thoughtful answer to my comment. I really appreciate that you have done your homework and have a clear understanding of Climate Change. It means I can have a clear concise discussion of the issue and you will get what I'm saying. That makes things a lot easier.

So, what does it mean to you that Europe is having temperatures that weren't predicted for 30-40 more years?

The models were obviously off and remain so. Based on the data from the Argo floats we underestimated the effects of CO2 by about 40%.

Those models are the foundation of the assessments you read.

My biggest insight doing climate research these last two years is how much new science has come in over the last five years. Anything you know about Climate Change that is more than five years old, is really dated.

The strongest theme emerging in the new data is one of disequilibrium and extreme swings. The implication of this theme is that no place can be regarded as "safe".

Which is why I have mixed feelings about "sanctuary cabins" (for lack of a better term). It's a big investment of time and resources that's tied to a fixed location.

In a period of disequilibrium and extreme swings in the weather that seems risky to me. Very, all your eggs in one basket, kind of bet.

That's a personal choice though. I may be wrong. Nobody knows because this hasn't ever happened before. Which is what should be terrifying everyone.

We have no clue about what's actually going to happen. All we have are educated guesses.

I respect the viewpoint and analysis that you and Teresa are expressing. If I don't respect someones writing. I don't waste my time reading and commenting.
