They (Medium Management) really seem to be hellbent on destroying the platform. Their recent moves have alienated soooo many writers.

It's unclear to me what their motivation is. Medium is essentially a money machine that spontaneously generates content and profit if it's well managed. The only reason I can think of to fuck with that is if you want to make a huge pile of money by doing an IPO or a sale.

What they have been doing lately feels like those kinds of moves. It's going to be a real pity if it destroys itself in an attempt to cash out.
