As LATE as 2008 and we were -50% too LOW in our fucking "guestimates" about how dangerous the situation was.

THAT, right then, should have prompted a 'Climate Emergency' Summit and reductions in fossil fuel use. Because it CLEARLY indicates that we DID NOT KNOW what we were doing.

Instead, no one even noticed, except for a handful of specialists.
