The thing is, Climate Change is not "far too complicated for human beings to comprehend". The basics are absurdly easy to understand.

People understand the idea of Climate Change. They are delusional about how much it's going to affect them.

People massively underestimate the degree of severity and the speed at which the Climate Crisis is unfolding. People think they still have decades of "normal life" before things get bad.

At this point, those that understand what's happening are actually being told to STFU. Everyone seems to want to live in denial a little bit longer.
