Thank you for your time and attention. I am evangelizing a new understanding of the Climate System. One based on a synthesis of observation, paleoclimate research, the ice core record, and improved models. We know so much more now than we did just 10 years ago.

The Ice Core record is a monumental achievement. It gives us an incredibly fine grained record of the Climate System for the last 800,000 years.

Using it, we have been able to conclusively prove the direct linkage between CO2 levels and global temperatures. You can see the cycle of CO2 in the record and the cycle of Ice Ages matching it.

That's really important because it established the validity of the paleoclimate research. Which shows a strong correlation between CO2 levels, global temperature, and mass extinctions.

Taken together, I think we are going to 4C of warming by 2070. The question was always "how fast"?

How fast was the warming going to happen?

They got that part wrong.
