Spot on review of "Extrapolations". I to, came away vaguely disappointed. For many of the same reasons you did.
It's nice to know it's not just me being a "cranky old man". That someone else sees the same problems with the show I did.
Apropos of that. Ukraine is probably a lost cause. It's the first domino in the Climate Crisis that's unfolding. It's part of the US/China Conflict that is raging right now.
Because China doesn't want to be part of the US response to the Climate Crisis. We have become an unreliable partner. They don't trust us in the drivers seat and are making a play to take the wheel.
A LOT of the world is listening to them.
We are in a moment of history where things could go CATASTROPHICALLY BAD.
