"Should I stay or should I go?"
If I go there will be trouble,
if I stay there will double.
So Darling let me know.
Should I stay or should I go?"

The eternal question.

When I was your age, says the feeble old man old enough to be your father. When I was your age my 1st wife wanted to follow her dream and get her doctorate in Computer Science.

She wanted to design AI's.

She got accepted with a full ticket scholarship to a University in Texas or a part scholarship in Cali. She took Texas and left that June.

Things had been difficult between us for awhile. We had become distant, leading separate lives. She told me that she hoped I would follow her to Texas but she would understand if I didn't.

I went to Texas and we had the best years of our marriage. She got her degree and was so much happier with her life and her work.

It worked out for us, even if we did get divorced later. When she changed her mind about wanting a child I couldn't give her.

If you go, never look back.
Never second guess.
Have no regrets.

My entire life can be described in one sentence: Things didn’t go as planned, and I’m OK with that.
