Twitter has Fallen.

Only the Slaves are left.

So, the article I did on Twitter a few days ago got an interesting response. I want to thank Arpad Nagy for posting the article on Twitter. The dark irony of that made me laugh so hard I actually shed a few tears.

It also massively boosted my “external views” on the article. On the day it was written I got 73 internal reads and 73 external reads. That’s double my usual audience. I usually get less than 3% external reads.

So, thank you Arpad. It was actually a really effective demonstration on how small choices can double the speed an idea, or “meme” can spread. When you say something goes “viral” it’s because the transmission rates exactly mimic the spread of viruses in a population.

It was cool to see it in macro scale.

With a bigger audience came a greater amount of feedback. Which was also really interesting.

A lot of people disagreed with me or were skeptical. Which I have no problem with.

I have a brown belt in judo. I thought the concept of the Envoys in the Netflix series “Altered Carbon” was brilliant (the 2002 book is very different, I liked the series more).
