What’s happening now is the corpse cooling down.

Twitter is about to shut down forever. Musk killed it.

This is not an article about free speech. I said what I thought about the “Free Speech” issues concerning Musk and his purchase of Twitter earlier this year.

It’s about Infrastructure.

You know, the stuff everyone takes for granted and never wants to pay for.

In the real world it’s all around you. Your life depends on it working perfectly.

Modern life needs water treatment plants, water distribution systems, sewage handling systems, electrical grids, communication systems, port facilities, roads, bridges, dams, highways, railroads, airports, hospitals, police facilities, fire control facilities, the list of things that have to work “behind the scenes” is endless.

All of it costs to maintain and keep working in good condition. But, in most cases you can let it “run down” if you don’t care if it degrades. There’s a…
