Short and to the point. Here's a "tipping point" for you.

Last year the atmospheric CO2 increase was +3.3ppm. That's in a SINGLE YEAR!

It was an 86% year over year jump from the 2022 increase of about +2.4ppm.

It was a BIG surprise because human emissions ONLY /s increased by 1% in 2023. The CO2 level shouldn't have jumped like that.

What happened in 2023?

The Terrestrial “Carbon Land Sinks” that normally sequester 25% (about 9.4GtCO2) of our emissions annually, FAILED.

They absorbed only about +0.44GtCO2 in 2023.

If this continues, it means a +100ppm increase in CO2 levels BY 2050.

The Climate Crisis is worsening. Tipping points ARE already being crossed.

The Crisis Report — 44

2023 was a BAD year for the Earth’s Climate.
