Reading the comments on Umair's articles is always interesting. Although it makes me feel bad for him, sometimes.
He says things so clearly and explicitly. Then people almost willfully misinterpret, misunderstand, or miss the point. It must be maddening.
He's telling you we are headed for an inflationary depression because of a massive supply shortage. A MASSIVE FOOD SUPPLY SHORTAGE.
Like 350 million people dying over the next 12 months food shortage.
The Climate Crisis is worse than you know. Think about this, we are at 1.2C of warming and the forecast is for 0.36C more this decade. We will be at 1.5C by 2030 no matter what now.
Do you think the warming will stop then?
It's going to continue warming at a minimum of 0.36C per decade until the Thermal Equilibrium for our level of CO2 is reached. In the paleoclimate record that's another 3C of warming. Until we reach 4C over the 1850 baseline.
Even if we get to Net Zero tomorrow the temperature is going to increase at 0.36C per decade for the next 100 years. That warming is baked in now.
We aren't looking at Climate Disaster, we are looking at Climate Apocalypse.
The inflationary-depression that's coming will be the last act before collapse.
