I haven’t written anything personal for a long time. I don’t particularly like to talk about myself. I find it difficult and always emotionally tiring. I agonize over every word you are reading here.

However, I think I need to try doing this a little more often. Doing things we find difficult is how we overcome our fears and achieve mastery over them. When I was 12 I read “Dune” and one of the ways it influenced my life were these words. They are probably the best known collection of words in Frank Herbert’s entire novel: The Litany Against Fear.
