20 Reasons Why Dying at Home is Better than Dying in the Hospital

In no particular order

1. A Better TV

Unless you are really wealthy, you are not going to find a big screen HD television with good speakers in any hospital room you will ever spend time in. Which is a shame.

Because, you will reach a point where you are on oxygen all the time and just setting in a chair for a few hours tires you out. You are going have a lot of hours to fill while you are laying in bed. You are going to watch a lot of TV at the end of your life.

At home, you have a nice one.

2. A better selection of shows on said TV

This should go without saying. If you are going to be watching a lot of TV, it’s good to have choices.

Again, unless you are really wealthy, the typical hospital cable package is going to be very minimal. When you’re dying, having choices is nice. At home you have Netflix, Prime Video, your downloaded movies, your DVDs, more than 2 news channels, and your personal videos.

At home, you have selection.

3. Better Internet

Although I am confident that hospitals would like to be able to charge you for internet access, they…
