OMG will you please grow up just a little bit. You are as bad as a "Big Lie" Trump voter with your 2020 Primary BS.

Bernie Lost Because He Couldn't Get Enough Votes.

That's how elections work. The side that gets the most votes wins. If Bernie could have gotten more votes he would have been the candidate. But he couldn't.

The main reason he couldn't, was that he couldn't win over Black voters in the party. Despite having four years to build a base in that key bloc of the Democratic party he didn't win over much of their vote. They went with Biden.

Most of the Hispanic vote went with Biden as well. Another key voting bloc in the party that rejected Bernie.

In fact, the only group that Bernie did well with in the primaries, was White Democratic voters. Who, not coincidentally, make up the majority of the population in the first few primary states. The ones that Bernie did well in.

But, if you recall, even in those states Bernie didn't win majorities. When he won, he won by plurality. In a big field, with a very fractured vote. Bernie couldn't even win the majority of the White vote in the party.

At best, Bernie could pull about 25-30% of the Democratic party vote. He doesn't speak for the majority of the country. He doesn't speak for the majority of the Democratic Party. He speaks for the 13-15% of the country that identifies as Progressive.

That's why Bernie didn't win the primary. Because that's how real elections work. The side that gets the most votes wins.

Biden got the most votes in the primaries. That's why he was the candidate and Bernie wasn't.

You also seem to have a problem understanding how the Senate works. You state:

"There are 50 Republicans in the Senate who have absolutely no interest in getting anything done for the American people"

Who do you think elected those Senators? Martians?

They were elected by "American People". They represent "American People". The majority of whom, in 25 states, voted for those Senators.

Perhaps those "American People" think that their Senators are doing exactly what they want them to do. If they want their Senators to block every single thing you want to do, then those 50 Senators are doing exactly what "American People" want them to do.

What part of "Trump got more votes than any other candidate in history, except for Biden" don't you understand?

Half the country, the 49% that voted for Trump, don't want a single thing that Biden proposes to happen. They want him to be a failed presidency so that they sweep back to power in 24'.

Those 50 Senators you despise so much, are doing what their voters want them to do. Things are dysfunctional because that's what happens in democracies that are deeply divided on racial lines.

Because their party is 90% White. In 2020, two out of three White voters in America, voted Republican. Those 50 Senators, who BTW are overwhelmingly White, are representing White America.

Our Senate is a perfect mirror of our country right now. On the one side, you see a polyglot group of men and women of a variety of races. The Democrats.

On the other side, you see a homogeneous group of White men, mostly older a few younger, a few White women, and three people of color. Because Ted Cruz is considered "Hispanic". The Republicans.

Biden won because about 8 million people,White people representing 2% of the population, voted Democrat instead of Republican. Symbolically these voters are represented by Manchin and Sinema. Two white people who are voting with the Democrats but are ready to switch sides at the least little push.

This isn't about 50 "evil" people not doing the business of the "American People". This is about White America telling the other half of the country "fuck you". Saying, quite literally, "We think you stole the election and we don't want you to get anything your way".

How exactly, is Biden supposed to work with that?

Do you really want an f'ing civil war? Do you have any clue as to how on the edge we are?

There were elements of the US military that were ready to back Trump on Jan 6th. They had created an internal security force using CBP and ICE units. Both of those agencies are still resisting control by the Biden administration and are still dominated by Republican partisans.

Our country could literally come apart in the next three years and you are whining because Biden is trying to stabilize the situation instead of inflame it.

Grow up.
