Of all the feedbacks the warming of the High Arctic is the one that is going to rapidly rapidly crash us. We were just so stupidly confident that we understood enough about the Climate System in the 70's that we threw caution to the winds.

The +0.5°C increase we just had is going to cause +2°C warming in the High Arctic over the next 2 years.

The Boreal Forests are going to BURN to the ground over the next 10 years and there is nothing we can do to stop it now.
