Not at all. That's inspirational and I would hope that you expected it, demanded it, and fought for it. We need to "raise the bar" on our expectations for our government.

I think we differ in how we see people. You strike me as "Rousseau-ean", I lean more towards Hobbes. That colors how we view what government can be and should do.

Don't mind me, I am old, cynical, and confronting mortality. Hard Times and probably no happy ending.
