LOVE that book. Even bought the "uncut" extended version with the 150 extra pages. It was worth it.

I won't BS you, the next few years are going to be UGLY. I think we will get through this 1st CRISIS basically intact. We still have LOTS of resources and SOCIAL INERTIA is still strong.

After that, things are going downhill as it RAPIDLY gets HOTTER and the food supply shrinks. Plus, the WILDFIRES are going to get WORSE and Global Infrastructure will start breaking down.

It will be a PROCESS and it will, probably, take several decades.

You could STROKE out tomorrow or get hit by a car. Worrying about HOW you might die is pointless. As the Bible tells us, "death comes like a thief in the night".

I have decided to focus on the NOW, while looking CLEARLY at what the years to come are likely to bring. It's kind of a GIFT to KNOW you are living through the end of a "Golden Age".

You appreciate it more.
