Behold the spectacle that is COP26,
In which the old order is revealed to be paralyzed, impotent, and morally bankrupt.
So, I’m watching the election returns here in Virginia while I consider what to say about COP26 and it occurs to me that we are watching the death spasms of a dying world. In Virginia just over three million people voted and the election is being decided by about 60,000 votes. The two sides are so evenly matched that it came down to turnout, and the White Trumpublican voters came out in force.
The biggest issue driving them to the polls was education. They are angry, really angry, that their kids are going to be forced to learn “CRT” or “Critical Race Theory” and made to feel guilty for being White. They are outraged that the state reported the names of parents who made death threats to school board members about mask policies to the FBI. They think it’s “un-American” that parents who “speak out” (Trumpublican speak for “make death threats”) against dictatorial school board policies are being retaliated against and investigated.
They are horrified at the “woke” curriculum being forced on their kids by the “Leftist, Socialist, Progressive, Demon-crats” with its Feminazi, anti-Christian, anti-White, Climate Change fear mongering, anti-capitalism, anti-male, pro-gay, pro-minority agenda. The messaging was…
