Let me ask you a question.
Do you know why we don't allow advertising in children's shows?
Because, under the age of five, kids cannot tell what's REAL and what's a SHOW. We ASSUMED that the ability to differentiate the two was an inate development of the brain.
New research indicates it's much more about learning SOCIAL signals and cue's than it is about the brain.
Which means about 40% of the population doesn't really know how to tell if something is say "sci-fi" like "stargates" or actually real. A lot of people believe shit, based on ideas created in movies and on shows.
They cannot tell what's REAL because our neurobiology isn't designed to do that for us. It's a learned SKILL.
Social Media is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS for that reason.
