It's an accurate comment and assessment of the current "state of play". At this point, everyone in the "doomer" community seems to be converging on the same conclusions. Only the willfully blind don't understand what's going on.

At some point though, we have to stop describing the problem and start suggesting either solutions or arguing for "prepping strategies".

Repeating endlessly, "it's worse than you think" becomes tiresome. People start pigeonholing you and start tuning you out.

"Oh, that guy. I know what he's going to say. More doom and gloom."

I don't know where we go from here. I'm old and my time is short now. What do we say to young people with kids? What hope do we have for them?

If we want people to do the hard work of changing the way we live on the planet we have to have a FUTURE that seems worthwhile. Otherwise, we are just scolds yelling at people on the street that "the END is nigh".
