It's a little bleak but you capture the essential reality of this moment. Those of us who KNOW and UNDERSTAND what's coming are all in this weird bubble of "cognitive dissonance".

I read a Ben Bova short story once about a "virtual reality" war game computer that was driving researchers insane. The protagonist eventually tries the system and can truly experience a nuclear war and its aftermath. Down to the bitter end.

It changes him. Because no one who truly understands the horror of what the aseptic term "nuclear war" really means, could ever want anything but peace.

The story ends with him recommending that the plans for the system be "leaked" to the Soviets, asap.

Right now, you have the burden of knowledge. You can SEE the horrors that are coming.

Most people CANNOT or WILL NOT, see what you and I and the "Doomers" here SEE. They have that luxury for a little while longer.

These are the final days of the "Old World" the "World that Was". COLLAPSE will be on us, soon enough.

Persuade the people you can, NOW, and ignore the rest. It's going to be EVEN Faster than I thought a year ago.

The burning of the Boreal Forests is going to "turbo charge" the Rate of Warming. I think they are going to dump +50ppm of CO2 the atmosphere over the next decade.

This is the time to decide where you want to make your stand and who you want with you. Apologize later.

My entire life can be described in one sentence: Things didn’t go as planned, and I’m OK with that.
