"There’s a rag rug in my kitchen which I am having an odd reaction to. When I stand on it in bare feet, I feel cool water on the bottom of my feet.

I hear water trickling around me. Yet, when I get on the floor and examine the rug, it is perfectly dry.

To my hands it feels like music. I run them over the black and white lines in the rug and I hear notes from various instruments. Different colored motes of light start floating up and forming patterns.

It’s disconcerting. I don’t particularly want to have that much engagement with a rug."
