If there is EVER going to be a Green response to warming. It has to happen in 24'. The Democrats should pivot Green so hard they do a 180.

I think a Green platform could win in 24'. But it's going to depend on a lot of factors.

Food costs being a big one.

High now and going to keep creeping up. Another year of droughts, etc and food prices could double again over the next year.

That, combined with a real estate crash, combined with more disasters, etc could put us in Depression territory.

The Trumpies are going to harp on that. Their campaign is probably going to be some riff on "we told you so".

If the Dems don't manage the narrative. They might actually lose in 24' on the economic consequences of climate change.

It's really unclear how young Republicans (20-35) will break. They accept Climate Reality but think it won't happen in their lifetime. If they feel "lied to" and betrayed.

They will burn the Republican party down and piss on the ashes. Converts have ZEAL!

Or, they could "close ranks" with the older Republicans and become even more polarized. There's a lot of uncertainty right now.

I'm mostly watching the fallout from COP right now. Africa is not happy with what White Empire has proposed in terms of assistance.

Kerry pushed "public-private" and development loans to "attract investment in clean energy projects". Which deconstructed means, we have nothing for them.

There will be fallout from this. The diplomatic situation is White hot right now. A centuries worth of diplomacy is playing out in fast forward right now.

The German Chancellor went to China last weekend and begged Xi to get Putin to stop the war. The implications of that are extremely interesting.

One wonders what Xi's price for peace will be.

We could lose reserve currency status for global trade. The BRIC nations and the Global 80% could change allegiance and align with China.

If that happens all bets are off. US politics will go insane and the economic crash will be devastating.

All I know for sure. When this La Nina ends, it's going to get a lot hotter, very fast.
