I write about Global Warming, Climate Change, and politics (domestic and geopolitical). Like you, I am retired and in my 60's. I completely understand what you are saying.

The situation is worse than you think.

I almost don't want to write more, because I am getting tired of being a gore-crow, but I am trying to get people to understand what is going on. Because this is our LAST CHANCE to vote for policies that could help.

Right now the Global Mean Temperature is 1.2C over what it was in 1880. It took 140 years for it to climb that 1.2C.

We are about to warm 0.36C by 2030. We will warm up another 1.1C by 2050. In just 30 years.

The next five years are going to be the hottest in over 1 million years.
