I love your compassion Michael for the "least of us". I love that you have "eyes" to SEE them.

To often they are INVISIBLE.

Just seeing the homeless and acknowledging their humanity is frequently one of the kindest things you can do for someone. I've been there.

As you say, it can happen to any of us.

I do disagree that RON was broken beyond repair. I have met men like Ron who "pulled through" by finding a "new purpose" or cause.

You often find "broken men" like this around CULTS and fringe groups. They make EXCELLENT foot soldiers.
