I liked your indirect comparison of bitcoin to a ponzi scheme. I too have often marveled at how BITCOIN has managed to create something out of nothing.
It reminds me of how criminal organizations transitioned from using cash for transactions to using gemstones. Instead of a suitcase full of cash, a million dollars worth of diamonds can fit in a small pouch.
Bitcoin allows the movement of goods, using an artificial value system that assigns worth to "trade tokens". That can then be traded for currency where ever you want.
The "value" of the tokens is arbitrary and backed up by NOTHING since no country has yet recognized bitcoin as a "currency". The tokens are traded like stocks, and unlike money, their value can fluctuate wildly. Just like stocks can.
