I found your take on the current state of play to be intelligent and highly interesting. We are arriving at a lot of the same conclusions but getting to them via different analysis paths.

Which means the most likely future is massive famines next year. Because that's what everyone's analysis seems to be converging on.

I am predicting 800 million to 1.5 billion deaths over the next 5-6 years. What's happening in Ukraine was a Sarajevo moment (1914 meaning). It's the first war of the Climate Crisis that's rapidly unfolding.

The next 5 years are forecast to be the hottest in the last million years. The IPCC is saying a 50% chance of hitting 1.5C by 2026, but only "temporarily".

We are talking about 0.1C of warming per Year! For the next 4-5 years.

Next year's famines are just the opening act. Much worse will follow.
