Humans will survive, I am sure of that. We are adaptable and hardy. Extinction is a very extreme event and unlikely.

However, our civilization is much more fragile.

I had hoped that we would "pull through" this century and reach a new paradigm of "techno abundance" by 2100. These hopes are vanishing as fast as CO2 and CH4 levels are rising.
