You and several others have made the point about how the developing Climate Crisis is going to scramble everything. Absolutely true, I totally agree.

I wrote about it in On Politics - War by Other Means 02 last year. I am predicting that when people under 40 realize just how bad things are, they are going to feel a lot of RAGE.

I said,

"The politics of Climate Change have worked in the Republican favor for over 30 years. Now it's going to hang them.

When everyone really internalizes that Global Warming is here and what it truly means for the future.

THEY WILL BURN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY TO THE GROUND AND PISS ON THE ASHES".

The politics of 2030 are going to be vastly different than the politics of 2021."

So, I totally agree with you.

That doesn't change what the Trumpublican’s are doing right now with the support of 66% of the White population. Those 66%, 42% of the total population, still don't think Climate Change is real.

They believe the "Big Lie" for G-d's sake. They sense things are going badly and that the prosperity their gurus have promised them since the 80's isn't ever going to happen.

Remember Reagan's Secretary of the Interior James Watt? The Evangelical Christian who thought all of the Earth’s resources should be freely used because the Rapture was going to happen in 2000.

White Republican America is still waiting for the Rapture and now Trumpublican’s are telling them that,

"Hey, it's not our fault. The DEMONCRATS are blocking everything we try to do. They hate you.

They hate your Whiteness, they hate your superiority, they want to replace you. We are at war with them.

If we lose they will destroy everything you love and enslave you forever. Get ready for battle."

So, yeah we are going to have a fucking knife fight in the dining room while our house burns down around us.

Their victory will be short lived, and most of the people will turn against them when they finally realize they have been lied to. I predict televised executions of oil company executives, Joe Manchin, top Republicans, etc.

It's going to be the Terror phase of the French Revolution. Because angry vengeful people rarely form stable governments.

Politics in the age of the Climate Crisis is going to be harsh and vindictive. We could have avoided this but White America just cannot admit they were wrong about anything.

They cannot admit that they bought into "A Bright and Shining Lie".
