Good reporting. It's imperative to keep reminding everyone how much of what's happening politically right now is racially motivated. Far too many White Liberals want to "whitewash" Republican racism away and pretend it's not a dominant force in White Trumpublican America.

"Don't call Republican's racist, it's offensive and just alienates them." Or, "if you mention racism it shuts down the dialog and they stop listening to you". These are what I constantly get told by f'ing Progressives who insist that White Trumpublican voters can be lured away from voting Republican by the power of "Progressive Ideals".

"But, not if you keep calling them racists."

Republican's don't see themselves as racists. Despite the fact that their party membership is 90% White. Despite the fact that 2 out of 3 White Americans vote Republican. Despite the fact that for over 25 years they have never been able to get more than 1 in 10 Black voters to vote Republican.

All of that is coincidence. They are not racist.

Not calling Bullsh-t on them. Not constantly pointing out what's really going on, letting the delusion that #MostRepublicansArentRacists flourish. Shifting the conversation into discussions about how the political divide is about "Rural vs Urban" or "Economic Inequalities". These are mistakes that keep us from seeing clearly what's going on and what's at stake.

White Trumpublican America, the 42% of us that are the core of the Republican party, want to make America an Apartheid nation. A place where "Only White Votes Matter".

Not talking about how racist Republicans are doesn't make it go away. It makes it more dangerous because it lets them pretend that they aren't.
