Fantastic piece Mitch. Really great information , really well written. You made lightbulbs go off in my head with your explanation of how dewpoint works.

I could see the seeming paradox of how water concentrates as air temps go down, because warmer air holds more "water vapor" than colder air. Water vapor is not liquid water, it's steam.

I scaled that in my head to the planetary level and wham, I understood why warming reduces cloudiness. I can "see" it now.
