We are about to have a MASSIVE heat spike over the next 5-6 years as the ocean releases some of the heat that has been building up.

Although it will cool off slightly after that, temperatures will continue to rapidly climb for the next 60 years.

We are probably going to 4C by 2070. Possibly faster if we continue dumping CO2 into the atmosphere.

MUCH FASTER if we dump large quantities of methane (CH4) into the atmosphere. A large surge of CH4 could push us past 4C by 2050.
