Before you start rejoicing. Keep in mind, that while Trump MAY be on his way out, Trumpism is not.

This last election was both highly significant and highly revealing about the "state of play" in our current "Almost Civil War". Dems like to harp on their "not losing badly". But, the reality is that the Trumpublicans got a majority of the popular vote in many states.

The overall national numbers of voters in 2022 was 49% Trumpublican and 51% Democrat. Exactly the same numbers as 2020. The Midterms show that nothing has fundamentally changed in our society.

However, they were a DISASTER for the Trumpublican Party going forward. Abortion and the Dobbs ruling was an "Extinction Level Event" for them.

While the majority of WHITE women over 45 still voted Trumpublican in 2022, women under 35 voted 76% Democratic. Those women will NEVER vote Trumpublican if history is any indication.

Demographically the Dobbs decision, by the insane Christian Zealots that the Trumpublicans have packed the Court with, was a 'Dino Killer Asteroid" for the Party. They "jumped the gun". They weren't supposed to ban abortion until after the 24' election.

In any case, this TIDAL WAVE of women voting against the Trumpublicans is going to make it almost impossible for them to win national elections in about 8 years. As the "Boomers" die off and the Millennials and Z's become more regular voters. The weight of women voting against a party they detest means the Trumpublican party has no future.

Right now though, we are split about 50/50 and that makes the Trumpublicans VERY DANGEROUS. If they don't win in 24' they may never win again.
