As much as I appreciate the vote of confidence they cannot. That's the "Catch 22" we find ourselves in vis-a-vis discussing Climate Change.

Everyone thinks it's so complicated that the only people you should listen to are "the experts". But, if those experts are wrong there is no way to get anyone to listen to you.

Because you aren't one of the experts people were told to trust.

People were told to ONLY listen to Climate Scientists. So those scientists became the "High Priests" of Climate Change and have power over all of us.

It was an INSANE way to study an issue of "life and death" importance.

And yet, this is how "science" as a social process works. It's a textbook example of how a scientific paradigm forms, gains power, suppresses dissent, suppresses evidence, and finally collapses.

It's a FUCKING TRAGEDY that we did this when so much was at stake.
