Another Old White Guy complaining incoherently about how "Liberals" are ruining everything. It's more incoherent than usual because he starts with how run down the community was and ends with how Millerton's main street is so jammed on weekends that,

"Try finding a parking space that’s anywhere near the main street. You can always park a half-mile up Route 22 next to the town park named for Eddie Collins"

This is somehow "bad" because the bookstore carries nothing but ‘Trump’s a Fascist’ books in its windows and everyone is being turned into a Liberal or something. Unfortunately for the author no TRUMPUBLICAN money ever flowed into his little town.

This makes it seem like only DEMOCRATS and LIBERALS care about what happens to small town America. Somehow the author seems unhappy about his town being saved if it's by the "wrong" type of people.
