Alan, I'm sorry but I think you're wrong. At this point moving to Texas to try and flip it Blue is like moving to Florida to do the same. About the time it starts to work the state is going to collapse.

The projections are for most of Texas to have 100℉ heat 6 months of the year by 2050.

In that level of heat and humidity you cannot live without air conditioning. Which means that the existing amount of power generation capacity has to double by 2050 to handle the load.

But wait, we want electric vehicles as well. That means the existing amount of power generation capacity has to triple by 2050.

Texas still has done nothing to improve the situation from last years grid collapse.

There are a lot more reasons to not move to Texas at this point. All of the projections are not good for where it's going to be in 20-30 years.

If the Dems were going to get unilateral control in the next few years then maybe things could be salvaged. I don't think it's going to happen until 2030. By then it will be to late.
